En la evaluación anual 2023, el Ministerio de Energía y Minas (Minem) ha obtenido el primer lugar entre las entidades del Poder Ejecutivo evaluadas bajo el Modelo de Integridad, con un Índice de Capacidad Preventiva frente a la Corrupción (ICP) acumulado de 1.98. Este modelo, implementado por la Secretaría de Integridad Pública de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, busca fortalecer la capacidad preventiva de las instituciones públicas frente a la corrupción. La evaluación se realiza semestralmente y abarca nueve componentes, incluyendo el compromiso de alta dirección, gestión de riesgos, políticas de integridad, transparencia, control, denuncia, comunicación y capacitación, supervisión y monitoreo, y encargado del modelo de integridad. La presentación de los resultados contó con la presencia de representantes de entidades públicas, liderada por el subsecretario de la Subsecretaría de Monitoreo de la Integridad Pública.
