Seg\u00fan el ingeniero hidr\u00f3logo de la instituci\u00f3n, David Yaranga, hasta las 18:00 horas, el caudal era de 30 cent\u00edmetros c\u00fabicos por segundo, y cualquier incremento ser\u00eda poco significativo. El aumento es com\u00fan en esta \u00e9poca debido a las lluvias estacionales, y las \u00e1reas de posible afectaci\u00f3n en caso de desborde ser\u00edan Chosica, Mariscal Castilla, Nicol\u00e1s de Pi\u00e9rola, Yanacoto, Los \u00c1ngeles y Chaclacayo, aunque actualmente no se ha alcanzado el umbral amarillo.
